Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

How come dentist don't listen to you?? I am getting dentures and when I got the top ones put in and they don't fit. I tried to tell the dentist that they aren't fitting right. The dentist just brushed me off. Now he has to remake them because they didnt fit right. They were off centered.
