Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

I've been going for impressions for the last 5 months for upper & lower partial plates and what a screw up that was. Every excuse under the book..the lab lost the impressions, the mold cracked, you name it. Finally I get them, pay $2,397. They didn't look right, and driving home, the bottom plate just flipped out with my tongue! When back to the dentist, and told her this was ridiculous, especially after going every Monday for 5 months for a piece of crap! I asked for a full refund and got it. I'll try again, but this time going to a denturist and not a dentist.
