I have wondered the same thing but it is not as simple as that really. A full lower denture is usually a good deal more troublesome than an upper and some people are very satisfied with partials that come in different kinds for attachment and they tend to be less expensive than other replacements. But I think it is a consideration none-the-less especially if the existing teeth are severly loose due to ageing; in which case they would not be a good likely anchor for a partial anyway. Regards,
