Hi Patty - I recently had two implants done in the upper rear of my mouth which involved a sinus lift and also bone transplant. I'm not sure I can explain how the lift worked (you could google it) but it seemed to not be a big deal in the whole procedure and I have had no repercussions from it. You should be sure to get a good recommendation for someone to do it with experience.
