    Yes 5 minutes, (if that is literal time) is a red flag. I had one through a crowned molar as part of a bridge yesterday and it took 50 minutes. (He had to numb the area again due to my weird nerves). Anyway he took maybe 3 or 4 xrays during it to make sure he got all the canals to the end and it filled to the end. I even got to see them right on the computer. I saw the "smoke" out of my mouth as put the "gutta' or whatever that stuff is called in my canals. I am SO glad it is over. He is a good endodontist however. That is all he does all day long.
