cs is right, it is hard to collect on a dental claim, and the time/expense sometimes negates the effort. I can't afford to take time off work either! I only wish I had known how childish this dentist was, in advance! How uncooperative & how minimally talented for my needs. I can't look at a photo of myself without cringing, or utter a word without lisping or whistling. I may as well have had the teeth pulled & a partial out in, for the good it has given me. No one will stand by me, and without a medical comment as to any medical malfunction of the crowns, I'm only a "whiney patient." All have said (this & other dentists) all they have to do, by law & definition, is put crowns over the nubs, irregardless of what they end up looking like. I wish now I had never gone for crowns. I am so sad.
