CS: Hi, thanx for the reply. I need a partial to replace the six teeth on top. I have three teeth missig on both sides. The tooth next to my canine is missing and I had a partial made with clasp hooked to the canine. I didn't like the wires showing. My cosmetic dentist said he could put crowns on my front six teeth and place the clasp for my partial on the back of the teeth to hide it. Plus he told me he could place a tooth next to my canine so that when I smile the connection between my real teeth and the partial is better hidden. So he suggested using what is called a "pontic" on either side of my canines. Does this sound like it would last with all porcelain crowns? I hope you can understand this procedure. I am worried about it being strong.
