It's not a problem.I have had a series of 4 unit bridges in the front of my mouth on top I have gone through the process you've described at least five times. It make terrible noises and sound scary, but it's never beeen a problem.

So, expect the tapping feeling and some noise. You'll be fine. This is the procedure for your case.
