Some may allow you to keep it in place but I do not like the idea. A secure case with your name on it along with a locker if available or with friend or family member you can trust.
Be sure to tell medical staff you have a denture or any other prostesis, hearing aide, etc. before surgery. They do not always ask so I noted.Best of care with your surgery. Looks like I am due to have one too.
