Wrong tooth crown color
Posted by Jenny on 10/5/2009, 11:26 am
Hi,
I recently had my tooth crown installed. However, the color of the permanent tooth crown is very difference from the nearby teeth. The dentist said he would add some glue on the surface of my permanent tooth crown during my next visit and add color to the glue.
I am not sure how long the glue will last. Will the glue last as long as the crown for 10-15 years? If I use the crown (Porcelain to Metal) to bite hard food, what will happen to the glue?
Since this tooth crown is the front tooth, can I ask my dentist to re-create the crown?
Thanks,
Jenny
