I dont know anything about adding color to glue. But that happened to me twice with my partial front top and a single crown front bottom. My dentist had to change the single crown 3 times till he got it right. The last time he changed labs. Dont settle till you a totally satisfied. You have to live with it. I would definatly ask for a new matching crown.
