cs is right as usual. I had a root canal on a bottom front tooth uncrowned for 20 yrs. Until it chipped 5 yrs ago. And then there was a problem matching the crown to natural teeth. But since cs mentioned that it reminded me ,that at the time my dentist said it wasnt always necessary to worry about a crown right away in the front since they are not chewing teeth like the back.
