Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?
3 unit front bridge.

I am getting my front bridge redone. My old on broke in a car accident. I originally had a semi precious metal porcelain one. The last thing my old dentist said was " I sure hope I didn't fire them to many times" It broke less than two years later. It took over a year to make Now I am at a new dentist. They recommended a all porcelain bridge and charged me $4449.00 They said it was just as strong as metal. After a year we fired the lab because they were not doing what we asked. At my new lab the guy said my bite was to strong for a porcelain crown. So we decided to go with a High noble metal bridge with porcelain 3 unit. It was my belief that the metal one would be cheaper than the all porcelain. I asked the dentist to show me the price difference (thinking I would get money back) Instead the price is higher? by about 500.00 I also asked for porcelain margins. They charged me for margins on all 3 units but I only have two stubs being glued to. I don't mind paying for quality work! But I feel I am getting the run around. I know my case is difficult. Unless I am just being lied to. I have caught them lying on several occasions. What should I do? Are the prices reasonable? (I paid cash upfront) What should a Hi noble 3 unit bridge with porcelain margins run? Do I need 3 margins or just two? I am trying not to lose patients. When should I ask for a refund ? The dentist is nice and cant be blamed for what the lab did! But really ? I am I being a sucker?
