Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

    PI Dental Update.

    Went to PI Dental for my 2 week after surgery checkup/stitches removal/adjustment.

    I must say... Those folks are fantastic. Expensive... but fantastic. They did a realign of my uppers (my lowers are implant supported). In another couple of months, I will go back for the finals.

    The only thing Im pissed of about is... WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO DO THIS???? I know the answer and it pisses me off:

    Fear.

    I spent years being afraid of having this done, and at the same time being depressed about my condition. It was horrible. I refinianced my house years ago, to get the money to have the work done, and I did do alot of research (this board was one of the research tools I used). I did get a couple of estimates, but none of the places I went, gave me a "Warm and Fuzzy" feeling till I went to PI Dental. I found out about PI Dental a couple of years ago, but I kept putting it off due to FEAR. I put it off until I got to a point where I was so depressed, it was either A) Get this work done, or B) Jump off a bridge.

    Now that its behind me, I can finally move on. I had put my life on hold. I was with a woman I wasnt interested in, because I was too self conscious to approach others. I didnt smile (Im still having a bit of a problem doing that but Im getting there), I drank like crazy, and the list goes on. My job situation is still a little shaky so I borrowed the money for the work in case I need to use the money from the refi to live on, but... I feel 100 times better.

    The only thing we have to Fear is Fear itself! HOW TRUE!
