Tooth broken off
Posted by Cameron on 10/20/2009, 2:30 am
I have a tooth, three in from the incisor, that appeared decayed for awhile, and is now broken off so only about 1/5 remains. It didn't hurt, indicating the tooth has died.
My question: I don't have the funds for a replacement if it's extracted, so can bonding be used to refashion most of a tooth, as opposed to what is usually done, replacing a chippy-chip-chip that comes off. I'm talking about shaping MOST of a tooth-replacement from that fraction that remains.
It's fine if it's "stop gap" - I can work towards having funds available in 6 months maybe. Is that doable? Thank you in advance.
