Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

    Re: Lisp?

Hi Janet, I've had a bridge for my two front teeth for many years. Actually, I've had a few of these as dental cosmetics have improved.

You are correct, the two front teeth should be a little longer than the adjacent (lateral) teeth. It will give you a younger smile line. Make sure your dentist knows this prior to making your permanent bridge.

As for the lisp, anytime I have work done in the front of my mouth (especially on a bridge replacement) it takes a little while to get used to the new work and I have a lisp for a few days.

God luck. Let us know how you do and feel free to ask questions.
