Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

bridge or implants

I have a bridge (missing front tooth & the one beside it) which needs replacing - it's old and the margins are not good - I thought implants would be the way to go - but dentist and specalist think that because I already have a bridge that it would be easier to replace the bridge than do implants, and also it might look better - has anyone had implants done in the front after wearing a bridge for about 17 years?
