how risky is it to remove an implant crown?

Posted by valerie on 10/28/2009, 11:45 am

two weeks ago i had an implant molar placed on the bottom left where there should have been a bicuspid . since i couldn't have implants on the last two teeth my dentist needed to give me a huge molar so i would be able to chew. this tooth was so wide and it was impinging on my tongue in such a way i lost my desire to eat. i had to find someone else to adjust it and the outside is fine now..my dentist was away and now im seeing him tomorrow and begging him to trim the inside..i doubt he will! after this i will want it out. how risky is it to remove the crown and the implant used is a short one. any advice will help alot! thanks valerie
