Temp dentures help
Posted by John on 10/28/2009, 10:38 pm
I have been told I need full dental extraction both upper and lower, because of compounding heath reasons it has to been done all at once and under full anaesthesia. The Dr. does not want to take a impression before surgery because he thinks that the molding material will possibly pull out teeth, so he recommends that I wait till after surgery and then at lest 5 weeks for the gums to heal before starting the process of making the dentures that he estimates will take 5 more weeks at lest. I can not live without teeth of that long. Is there any other molding material that I can suggest to my dentist to use or is it possible to mold a set of teeth without taking a mold, I am not afraid of the surgery but living with out teeth for 10+ weeks scars the heck out of me I am not necessarily a vain person but having people see me with a sunken in mouth is more then I can handle
