Hi, Lee's right. A partial can be a beautiful alternative to implants. I have had both. I had implants placed after my top four front teeth were removed. While they healed, I use a removable metal partial and it looked and functioned beautifully. Implants are a great way to go to replace missing teeth, but it is expensive. My four wound up with a final cost of somewhere around $16K. If many of your teeth are loose and not salvageable, you may want to consider implant supported dentures. They can be a less costly alternative. Still, as Lee said, a metal partial really can be a satisfactory alternative. Teeth can also be added to it if more natural ones are lost. Your dentist should discuss all of your alternatives so you can make an informed decision. Hope this helps. My best to you, Gellia
