Hi Camryn, I used a metal removable partial while my implants healed and it was beautiful! It took me a bit to get used to it but after about two weeks I can say it didn't bother me at all. I was able to eat normally with it and my smile was gorgeous! Mine attached with small wires to my back teeth. It didn't hurt at all and I wore it at night, too. A RMP is definitely a viable option and should be considered. I'm really not sure I would have had my implants if I had known how nice my partial actually would be. Hope this helps!
