Hi Camryn, I had all intentions on getting implants. I had a grafting procedure (building up the bone) at the same time I had extractions. I had to wear a partial while my gums healed. At first I couldn't wait to get rid of the partial and get my implants. But after a week or so, I started getting used to the partial. I ended up liking it. I felt it was simple, inexpensive and low maintance. So at this point I decided why bother with the implants. That was almost 3 yrs ago. You should be fine with the partial once you get used to it.
