I was in a similar situation. ALthough a little older at 44, I had a couple of estimates to repair a bunch of deteriorating teeth. Both ran $20-25 thousand and just wasn't difficult, it was totally financially unfeasable.
I heavily researched Costa Rica, and found a Dentist who did flawless work on 2 crowns and 6 veneers. The cost was $350 for each crown and veneer. My guess is for the work I had done, it would have been $12K in the US, it cost me around $3500 in CR.
The Dentist I used, as well as the others I narrowed my search down to, all had some or all of their education in the USA.
It was nice to smile again
