Hi KJ,
For a permanent one I think the dentist has to alter the anchor teeth. I have a temporary metal with clasps. I removed the clasps and it stays in with fixodent. I am not sure what the difference is with cast metal or acrylic metal.I know flipper is all acrylic and supposted to be thicker. Gellia probably knows more than me. I also think Tracey mentioned she was having her teeth prepared for her partial so she may be able to offer some help. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
