Hi Jerry, I sympathize with you. Has your periodontist discussed laser gum surgery with you? Or, alternatively, there is a gum surgery that can clean the gums and teeth deeper than even root planning and scaling. My DH has been in your shoes. He eventually got implants and has done very well with them. All you can do is continue the battle with the weapons available. My very best to you. Gellia
