Hi-I just want to let you know that there is hope! I grew up with very poor dental hygeine. My whole life I have been terrified to go to the dentist. We all have fears that we need to conquer. Please take the next step and go to a dentist. I find the best sorce of information is from friends and family. Ask around and I guarantee someone you know has an awesome dentist. You had an unfortunate experience with the dentist you went to. The one thing I have learned is when it comes to our health, we all have to advocate for ourselves. You mentioned having children; you owe it to them and yourself to be the healthiest you can be. That includes your dental health. I have made numerous mistakes in the past with my dental health; however, I am now on the way to correcting as much as I can.
