The dentist told me that it is because I had an "overbite"...never heard that ever before from previous dentist. He told me that he would make another one because my jaw was out of alignment...and unless I had surgery on that to correct it, there is little that can be done about how it looks...he also doesn't want to make another one. I call my dental plan and they told me that they will only replace it after 5 years. I thought this was a "temporary" until the swelling goes down, and that I would be fitted for a permanent plate. It had to be relined the first day after extractions because it fell out on the way out of the parking lot after extractions...yesterday, he put another soft lining in and it is REALLY, REALLY UGLY NOW!The extractions were done on 10/04/11. I don't ever want to smile again!
