Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

Mine was done in Orange County, too . . . but it's been several years (so costs may be higher now),
I also had additional work done at the time. But my recollection is that the total cost for the implant (including panoramic x-rays . . .removal of the dying tooth . . . placement of the implant post . . . lab-made temp . .. permanent abutment and permanent (immediate-loading)permanent implant crown plus all post op monitoring and adjustment of the implant post (unique to immediate-loading implants) came to something like $3,600 to $3,700. But I also received a generous discount for paying in advance for the total project (which included matching crowns on 3 adjacent teeth plus a new post on one of them).
BTW, my dentist (a second-generation DDS) also pioneered the use of implants and shared his knowledge with other dentists in the late 1980s.
If I were you (or your wife) I definitely would find out in advance what that abutment and implant crown are going to cost you.
