Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

Your dentist sounds like she or he is honest. Gums sometimes suffer in appearance with implants. But that's generally not the case . . . And sometimes they even look better than before the implant was placed (as they did when my implant was placed.
I'm noit a dental professional . . . just a fellow patient, but my uneducated guess is that the post op appearance of the gum after an implant probably depends to some extent on both the condition of the bone and/or gum tissue, as well as the skill of the dentist placing the implant.
If I were you, I'd ask my dentist if s/he can guarantee those two teeth s/he grinds down to support the bridge will never decay or lose the ability to continue supporting it.
Unless the answer is "yes," there's always the chance that some day, the bridge will have to be extended. Then you could be looking at another couple of teeth being ground down.
