I went for 2nd opinion to a cosmetic dentist with a good reputation. He confirmed that gums can suffer from an implant but he can do something to the gums after surgery. I am not sure what but it was not an additional surgery. He also confirmed bridges can look better especially a lava bridge that he does. And yes he warned me of bridge issues. He is for implants. He told me the average life of a bridge is about 10 years. I would prefer to go with an implant. I DONT want to ruin good healthy teeth. Thanks for responding.
