Thank you so much again for all your info. I for sure will be checking the place out you referred me to. Since the one other place in Newport Beach has free consultations I figure why not check out what they say too. I do really prefer a referral like the one you gave me, the NB place is only a place found on the internet. Just curious to see what will be said. The place in NB said they give you free X-rays and panoramic this & that, but I just had new X-rays done by the dentist who pulled my tooth. I don't really care to have more X-rays done so soon. I would think they could look at what I have and give an opinion. I've already had breast cancer 10 yrs. ago & don't care to subject myself to unnecessary radiation. I will make sure to ask about how long they think my implant of 12 yrs will hold up, and also ask just in case it ever comes out if another one can go in the same place. I have been told no before, but I also have been told they can. It will be interesting to hear opinions from these places regarding that. I have also heard if you take care of an implant it should last a lifetime so that is what I'm hoping for of course. The thought of even losing it ever freaks me out.
