I never heard of this procedure. This makes me hate the dentist all the more that extracted my tooth. I now have more problems than before because of it. He obviously knows about this procedure, all he talked about was how so many root canals fail. I don't think so, I know people who have had them & they didn't fail. I feel the idiot dentist who pulled my tooth just loves to pull teeth. He wouldn't have chosen the same thing for himself or one of his family members I bet. Now he still says a bridge for me would be fine. I think he forgets what he says from one appointment to the next. Last time he even suggested bone grafting due to my bone loss to even get a bridge. What??? Are you kidding me? He now says the bridge would work just fine & I wouldn't need bone grafting. It's hard to believe this dentist has been in business for 40 yrs. He is my ex-dentist now that's for sure. Why would anyone get bone grafting to then get a bridge? If I am told I am a candidate for bone grafting I wouldn't get anything other than an implant.
