Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

I finally had my first consultation regarding getting another implant. I went to the dentist who did my other one with my Xrays from the no good dentist who pulled my tooth. The one that said I couldn't have an implant because I have so much bone loss. Right away the dentist today said I could have an implant, & I would not need bone grafting to do it. He said he didn't believe in putting a foreign substance in & it's best to wait 4 months for the area to heal. That's what I did before with the implant that has now been in for close to 14 yrs. & still going strong.
I'm so happy. The other dentist that insisted a bridge would be best for me would have charged me $1500.00 & ruined two other teeth to do it. Bridges usually don't last long & can end up having all kinds of problems. The implant is going to cost me $2250.00. The root canal that should have been done in the first place was going to cost me $1725.00. So with the cost of paying for the extraction, that shouldn't have been done costing $95.00 + the cost of the implant it will cost me $625.00 more to have the implant. Well worth it, I can't wait for it to begin in July.
How dare that other no good dentist tell me I wasn't a candidate for an implant. He isn't trained to do implants, but still he should tell the truth & refer patients out to have one. There's nothing better. The dentist today said a lot of insurance companies are now willing to pay for them, that's how successful they are. I wish I had insurance, what must that be like, but I will gladly cough up the money for the implant & just do without some other things to do it.
