One year is a pretty long time for the pain to stay. Maybe it's not the infection that is bothering you, instead it might be the bride fitting. It seems like the fitting might be faulty. You should contact your dentist. He/she needs to check if the fitting is fine. If it's not comfortable only YOU can tell! If you feel discomfort don't be afraid to tell the dentist - it's their job after-all to make their patients feel comfortable and provide desirable results. Good luck!
