PLEAS HELP! After root canal & crown put back on My TOOTH LOOKS SHORTE & FEELS SHORTER TOO!

Hi, Please help, I am very worried and nervous. I am not sure if this is why I feel this way . I went for part 3 of my root canal today. The crown had come off and needed to be build back up. My crown felt really good before. But today my tooth looks shorter, my bite is off, I cant readh my bite, it feels too low. He said he took off less than a piece of paper from the crown, but he insisted NOT the lenght.DO you think I can fix this or am I just panicking and I feel hot flashes, very dry mouth today and tense. Is it possible my bite feels weird because Im so worried ? The densist said he did not adjust my bite, he only preveneted the tooth from hitting . DOes this sound normal and will I be okay if I give it some time ? I begged him not to cement it on bit he said he had too!!! Thanks so much for your help!
