Costs for dentures vary all over the place. Region of the country, demographics of that dentists patient population. His overhead for his office, his or her ego even play a part in what the costs are. The cost of the appliances is only one part of the whole procedure- you need to factor in the cost to extract your natural teeth, whether you need alveoplasty performed on the ridges before your dentures are put in, the cost of the denture and the cost of follow up care. Many places offer a lot of this as an a la carte' menu. It has been a long time since I got my dentures but the last time I had my dentures replaced I paid close to 3K for them. That is just the dentures. Find out exactly what you get for the price quoted and get it in writing.
