Just Saying is correct about cost. On the other hand, personally, I believe it's worth it. Unlike other options, it provides the equivalent of a new, "real" tooth — with almost all the same benefits: form . . .function . . . permanence . . . independence relative to other teeth . . . not to mention, stability of facial contours in a way other "replacement" prosthetic teeth are unable to offer. In my case, the cost of an implant was an incentive to take care of all my teeth in ways I had never considered or been aware of in my youth and earlier adult life.
