Hi Jean, No sense in playing the "If I only had done such and such" game. My dental issues are not from lack of proper care. My second teeth never came in and so after 47 years my remaining baby teeth all decided it was time to loosen up considerably. That is how I started my journey into Implant Supported Overdentures 2 1/2 years ago. About 2 years ago, I heard, from my then eye doctor, that there was research going on to make an implant so a person could see some things again. The only problem was that the optic nerve had to be functioning to some extent for the implant to work. My optic nerve in my bad eye does not fucntion. You may want to ask your eye doctor about this implant for your daughter. Patti
