Is there a SEAL between the veneer and tooth ? Please help,mine came off!

Hi, not sure if anyone is here to help. But I would really appreciate any help, I am worried and can not go to see the dentist until next week ( closed for holiday all week ). My veneer fell off . I noticed the past few days I could feel my tooth under it and around it . Now that I put some fixodent on until I see the dentist Iam noticing something very weird. I can feel the entire outline of my tooth behind teh veneer, i can clip it with my nail .So Im just wondering if they are seales in the back with a glue and will this be fixed when the dentist reapplies teh veneer ? Thanks so much !!
