Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?
Posted by Jean on 7/17/2012, 1:13 pm
It took no more than a half hour. Three shots to numb me up, the first one sort of hurt, but not much. Now the implant is in & I need to go back in two weeks to have it checked. Then in four months I go back and have the crown put on which will consist of another two appointments.
My other implant from 14 years ago is still going strong. There were more appointments with the this one, the same dentist said there's no need for as many appointments now.
I can't believe how skilled he is, I feel so happy to have had this done. He said if I have any bone loss it sure isn't much. He didn't do any bone grafting at all. He said he never does it. It sounds like a lot of dentist tell patients they need this when they really may not just to make more money. The entire cost of my implant with crown and post, the whole thing will be $2250.00. I don't think that's bad & is well worth it over having a bridge like the other dentist kept wanting to do.
