Veneers

Im 16 & i've never had braces. It's something my dad has talked about doing but procrastinates way to much about. My teeth aren't perfectly straight & I still have 2 baby teeth (they say I have floating teeth under them) my teeth are small and kind of boxed shaped so I've been told braces might not be a good idea. I'm taking my own money and looking into veneers for myself because I desperately want to have a pretty smile and with 2 years let of high school, I'd like to get a jump on it! I do grind my teeth at night when I sleep (maybe that can be helped with a night guard?) is this a bad idea or should I stick to braces?
