Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?

Hi.
I agree with your mother,Barbara and cs with keeping as much of your natural teeth as possible.
I had a genetic defect which made the enamel deteriorate andd the dentist recommended me to pull all my teeth when the bone was large. So in 2005 I got full dentures when I was about 18(very early). For me that was the right thing and I have had no regret and I am a happy denture wearer.
That said its very difficult to advice as we do not know how fast your teeth deteriorates.
In my case the teeth could have been saved for about 5 years, but then the bone would have been attacked and deteriorated and would have been not optimal for dentures( implants was far beyond my financial ability).
As my dentist told me that keeping the teeth would have cost very much and after about five years had to be pulled with a more difficult denture fit.
So we agreed on saving the money and go for dentures. When I look at the gums now 7 years after they are very good and no difficulty with the fit and function. If I want implants I can get it when ever I want, but I see no reason for that now.
In your case I would have had a second opinion as Barbara said.
In my eyes keeping and crowning the teeth and pay that much for just some few years may be a waste and I would have chosen dentures, but if the teeth will last 10 years or longer I would have had difficulty in choosing.
