Thanks cs. Indeed, since I'm not an expert, it's hard for me to speculate as to the root cause. All I know, is that since my teeth were ground down, my lower jaw doesn't match my upper jaw. I do hope to find some solution, as I just can't imagine living like this for the rest of my life. Very grateful for any input from any dentists, who have heard of any such adverse jaw reactions, based on the circumstances that I recounted. Cheers, Colin
