Yankee ought to be able to handle that program, and a lot more easy.
Is your objective to build endurance in your dog? If so, this is the method I use for pretty much any dog over six months old. I take 'em out in the woods, and I walk anywhere from two to five miles. I let the dogs run loose. They generally run the whole time, back and forth, following game trails here and there. They probably run two to three times the distance I walk. By having 'em out in the woods, following game trails, the dogs perform with the kind of intensity I like to see. I never make a dog do anything. They do it because they love to do it.
