This is what I stated as my opinion:
"The labels Old Southern White and White English appear to be much older colloquial names for various strains of southern bulldogs.
Once again I agree..
I consider them more of the forbear of the AB them What they have become today..
Some of us Liked where they were before they became a Man Dog,Sport dog,Personal Protection dog. We like having a Naturally Protective dog that we don't have to worry about around children and people the dogs dont not know..
I have left Adult dogs I own that were not raised with children stay with them and my Adult friends for days and had Nothing but Good results.
I have had Hog Wild Woman and JSON stay at David Farneti's house for the weekend with his 4 year old daughter at different times to get nothing but Great reports back. I had Elli Mae Clamp it
stay with a friend with Very Young Children for the weekend and had the same results.
We Like the Idea of a Southern Bred Farm Utility dog bred the same way they have always been bred with out (little to none)Modern day Influences.. You (not Dave but Bark) can call it a Marketing tool if you like but those that have them have lived the Difference and have the right to like it better..Or Just Like it..
Yes there are some that have seen the Interest I have with my dogs and Market dogs they don't even own as OSW/W.E dogs as a Marketing tool. Some have even taken pot shots at me while doing so..
(that's expected)
And Others that use the term Ol Southern White
way to loosely because they live in the South and New bees don't know the difference anyway..
While they are really producing Hybrids...

-----------------
If modern breeders are labeling their dogs Old Southern White or White English they are actually using the older description"
That is older than American Bulldog that was only invented around 1978.
-------------
I have to add Older Description for Old style bred dogs.
-------
I did state that some use the term OSW as a marketing tool when they don't even have OSWs.
As I stated above I agree.
I don't believe Ralph to be one of those as I do think the Boss/Ouija blood qualifies as OSW IMO.
Thank You David D
But I would like to add,
Not just Boss/Ouija but,
Hog Hammer/Diamond
JJ/Diamond
CMB/Bossy Girl
Hog Hammer/Woman
JSON/Miss Red Neck
etc...
Not trying to Reinvent the wheel just trying to refine and Preserve it..lol
That is for those that Appreciate it..lol
