Hey Paul,
It's too bad your dog has bad hips. We had some discussion not too long ago on the board about hips. I pretty much point blank stated that the reason there are so many bad hips in the breed is because breeders and buyers have their priorities misaligned. There is just no way breeders can realistically breed off lines that are throwing such a high rate of bad hips and expect not to get them, even when the parents themselves have been x-rayed and have good hips. It is the law of percentages in action. The reason I type all this is because of posts like yours. I feel bad for the dogs. They don't just happen. There does'nt have to be dysplastic dogs. Good luck with your dog.
