hey paul, what's the saying, "$hit happens", I bought from really good blood lines, and I went for the biggest in the litter, and got the only dysplastic pup in the litter, maybe in the line, I have learned to keep him lean, and limit the exercise, my ab goes lame if he does to much, but if I keep him limited, he does much better, sorry to hear about your dog.
