I love the term gobbledegook almost as much as gibberish, lol.
Do OFA readers really tell you if your dog is breedworthy or not? If yours does, its most likely under the context of hips.
The rest of your questions appear to be related to the validity and reliability of the OFA and PENNhip and would best be answered by a veterinarian.
Lets just say the tests are not valid as self-reported, then your question to Dave is a mute point.
On the other hand, perhaps your latest email reinforces part of the problem with HD in this breed as I don't hear similar arguments in the other dog communities such as with Shepherds.
