We did this for people like you that would enjoy it. I could of kept the tape just for myself but I wanted to share it with others who would appreciate it.
I'm just glad people like you are out there.
I hope our efforts dispel the Nonsense and at the same time prove these dogs Have been around for ever.
Don't get me wrong we also learned that these dogs could be trained to be Great farm dogs. Which is common. But like all dogs they need training.
Example, When my Father grew up he had bird dogs and raised chickens free range. His dogs left the chickens alone.Yet were great hunting dogs. The town he lived in got built up and you couldn't raise chickens there anymore. When I grew up we had the same breed of bird dogs and Hunted them,(Springers)but they weren't raised around chickens, like my fathers dogs were, so they went after them. No different with Bulldogs.
Show me a picture of a Southern farmer wearing scratch pants and a sleeve and then I will believe you when you say these dogs were originally bred for bite work.
