#1 my American bulldog has gotten to where if I have him out of his pen anything or anyone that comes by our house he wants to chase it or them. There have been a couple of times I or my son have had to go out in the road and drag him back. He has become more and more aggressive with strangers that may come by our house. He doesn't actually go out and attack them but more aggressively barking and snarling at them. I believe he views them as a threat to our territory and he wants them gone. Because of this I will only let him out after dark now, when human contact is minimal. He comes whenever I call him under normal circumstances but if he's after something he will not come no matter how I call him or how many times. We live down a dirt road out in the country, there are people that ride four wheelers and motorcycles by our house a good bit. Is there any hope of getting him out of this??
#2 this actually goes along with the first one. When I have all our dogs out together they will all do the same scenario as described above. It's like they are all feeding off of each other and go into a frenzy of sorts. I believe our older lab is the main issue as she is the pack leader. Even my male American bulldog doesn't get as aggressive toward cars and such passing by if she isn't around. When they all are out it's like a pack of wild dogs or something. They all have been trained by me to come and they do every time unless this crap is going on. Once one starts barking or whatever it just escalates from there. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? I really don't want to put them all on chains or keep them licked up 24/7. I have plans to fence in my whole yard but it's just not feasible at this time
